Many players have questions about Celsius Casino before they deposit their first euro — here are the honest answers.

Before You Start

Before you create your account, make sure you have the following ready:

• A valid email address and a phone number for verification.
• A government-issued ID (passport or driver’s license) for KYC checks.
• A payment method that suits you, such as VISA, Mastercard, or an e-wallet like Skrill or Neteller.
• A stable internet connection — especially if you plan to play on mobile.
• Set a deposit limit and a time limit. Responsible gambling starts before you play.

Creating Your Account

The registration process is straightforward and takes only a few minutes. Here’s how to do it step by step:

1. Click the “Register” button and fill in your personal details — name, date of birth, and address.
2. Choose a username and a strong password. Use at least 12 characters with a mix of letters and numbers.
3. Verify your email by clicking the link sent to your inbox.
4. Complete the KYC process by uploading a copy of your ID. This is mandatory for withdrawals.
5. Make your first deposit using your preferred payment method.
6. Activate any welcome bonus if you wish, but read the terms first.

Playing on Mobile

You don’t need to download an app to play at CelsiusCasino. The site is a mobile-optimized website and a progressive web app (PWA). You can launch it directly from your browser and add it to your home screen for quick access. This works on both iOS and Android devices. The games are optimized for touch screens, so you get a smooth experience without taking up storage space.

Bonus & Promotions

Bonuses are a big part of the online casino experience, but they come with conditions. Let’s look at a typical welcome bonus and how to calculate the wagering requirement.

Suppose you deposit 1,000 NOK and receive a 100% match bonus up to 2,000 NOK. That means you get 1,000 NOK in bonus money. The wagering requirement is typically 35x the sum of deposit and bonus. Here’s the math:

Wagering requirement = (Deposit + Bonus) × Wagering multiplier

In numbers: (1,000 NOK + 1,000 NOK) × 35 = 70,000 NOK

You must wager a total of 70,000 NOK before you can withdraw any winnings from the bonus. Check the game contribution percentages — slots usually count 100%, while table games may count less.

Need to Know

Is it safe to play at CelsiusCasino?

Yes. The casino uses SSL encryption to protect your data, and it holds a license from a recognized regulatory body. However, since the license is from Curacao, remember that winnings may be subject to local income tax in Norway — check with your tax authority.

How do I verify my account?

You need to upload a valid ID and proof of address. This is part of the KYC process, and it’s required before you can withdraw. It usually takes up to 48 hours to process.

What is the minimum withdrawal amount?

The minimum is typically 200 NOK, but it can vary depending on the payment method you choose. E-wallets have lower minimums than bank transfers.

Can I set deposit limits?

Yes. Under the responsible gambling section, you can set daily, weekly, or monthly deposit limits. You can also take a break or self-exclude if needed.

Pro Tips

If your withdrawal is delayed, don’t panic. Here’s what to do:

First, check the processing time on the cashier page. Standard withdrawals take up to 24 hours, but bank transfers can take longer. If the status says “Pending,” wait 24–48 hours.

If it’s still pending after that, contact customer support via live chat or email. Provide your transaction ID and ask for an update.

If you don’t get a response within 24 hours, escalate to the licensing authority. They have a complaints procedure for players.

Always keep your proof of identity and payment details ready to speed up the process.

In summary, playing at CelsiusCasino is easy if you follow the steps. Start with a small deposit, read the bonus terms, and always play responsibly. Good luck!
